A pump is a device that will induce pressure difference between two regions of space. A vacuum pump removes gas/air from a sealed volume and thus leaves behind a partial vacuum. Gas molecules must be moved to create a vacuum. When there is a difference in pressure between two regions the molecules will move. Vacuum pumps are used in a wide variety of industries and applications. Here at Atlas Copco we continue to make improvements to our state-of-the-art vacuum pumps to ensure you receive the most suitable solution. The first person to demonstrate the force of vacuum was a German called Otto Von Guericke in the mid-17th century. He realized that by removing the gas from the space between two hemispheres, the net forces of the surrounding air pressure would hold those hemispheres together. Modern vacuum pumps for industrial applications work on similar principles. They primarily remove air or gas molecules from areas of lower gas density at the inlet to areas of higher gas density at the exhaust. Industrial vacuum pumps are ideal for applications that require low or rough vacuum (& gt; Atmosphere to 1.0 mbar) and medium vacuum (1 to 10-3 mbar). Simply put, vacuum pumps are mechanical devices that enable the removal of air and gas molecules from a sealed area to create an area devoid of air and/or gas. Generally, their purpose is to clean and seal. Vacuum pumps come in wet or dry variants depending on the media being pumped through them. Vacuum pumps remove air molecules (and other gases) from the vacuum chamber (or the outlet side in the case of a higher vacuum pump connected in series). As the pressure in the chamber is reduced, removing additional molecules becomes increasingly harder to remove. #Aircompressor #compressor #Atlascopco #AtlascopcoCompressor #OilFreeAirCompressor #IndustrialAirCompressor #PistontypeAirCompressor #ScrewtypeAirCompressor #Peenya #Airdryer #dryer #AtlascopcoAirDryer #RefrigerantAirDryer #DesiccantAirDryer #Oxygen #OxygenGenerator #Industrialoxygenplant #Medicaloxygenplant #BestOxygenGenerator #Hosur #Nitrogen #NitrogenGenerator #NitrogenGeneratorplant #BestNitrogenGenerator #Bangalore #Vacuumpump #AtlscopcoVaccumpumps #AirFilters
