From the Desk of Atlas Copco General Manager
Following the recent budget news and the positive business outlook forecasts, we feeling confident that 2021 will be a strong year of growth for many of our esteemed customers. The recent good news on the progress of the worlds largest vaccination program in India also helps bolster the good mood and confidence for a solid recovery across India’s manufacturing sectors.
We see that many companies at this time have completed or in the process of finalizing their budgets for Capex and Opex for the coming year. Our present market analysis based on the data we gather from our large service base, is that many companies are interested at this stage in maintaining their uptime and productivity.
Whilst we understand this completely and with our vast service network we are supporting the maximum availability of the compressors and compressed air dryers, we do see that there is a necessity for long term sustainability, allocating some part of the 2021-22 budget for energy audits and energy saving technologies.
Our energy audits where we can use the latest ultrasonic leak detection digital cameras that can pin point the exact location of leaks and visually show the amount of energy lost, coupled with our flow and power measurements, will provide you with the most comprehensive energy audit for your compressed air system. We are confident that you will see huge energy savings and have references where more than INR 65 lakhs of saving opportunities were identified.
Such audits are critical before any expansion plans which we expect many companies to be implementing this year..
Based on the expected growth this year in India’s manufacturing sector, we all need to take our responsibilities to reduce, reuse and recycle where ever we can and Atlas Copco is committed to helping our customers in achieving their targets for sustainable energy reductions.
